Poron suspension for smooth highs For the TNF tweeter, we have brought two great evolutions to our aluminum/magnesium tweeter. The suspension between the dome and its support uses Poron, a shape memory material. This suspension method is derived directly from the famous Utopia Beryllium tweeter, allowing distortion to be reduced by a factor of three in the 2-3kHz range, where the human ear has a very great sensitivity. The spatial characteristics of the inverted dome and the very low directivity already make it far superior to the conventional domes used by our competitors.
