  • Metallica Classic 5 Album Vinyl Record Collection: Kill Em All / Ride The Lightning / Master Of Puppets / And Justice For All / Metallica: The Black Album – Digitally Remastered Set
  • Standard single disc. Digitally remastered edition of Metallica’s 1983 debut album. Kill ‘Em All is regarded as a groundbreaking album for thrash metal because of it’s precise musicianship, which fuses New Wave of British Heavy Metal riffs with hardcore punk tempos. It’s musical approach and lyrics were markedly different from rock’s mainstream of the early ’80s and inspired a number of bands who followed in similar manner. Metallica is easily one of the best, most influential heavy metal band of the ’80s. Responsible for bringing the genre back to Earth, the band mates looked and talked like they were from the street, shunning the usual rockstar games of metal musicians during the early ’80s. They expanded the limits of thrash, using speed and volume not for their own sake, but to enhance their intricately structured compositions.
  • Digitally remastered edition of the second studio album by Metallica, originally released in 1984. The album was recorded in three weeks with producer Flemming Rasmussen at the Sweet Silence Studios in Copenhagen, Denmark. The artwork, based on a concept by the band, depicts an electric chair in the midst of a thunderstorm. The title was taken from a passage in Stephen King’s novel The Stand. Although rooted in the thrash metal genre, the album showcased the band’s musical maturity and lyrical sophistication. This was partly because bassist Cliff Burton introduced the basics of music theory to the rest of the band and had more input in the songwriting. Instead of relying strictly on fast tempos as on Kill ‘Em All, Metallica broadened it’s approach by employing acoustic guitars, extended instrumentals, and more complex harmonies.
  • Digitally remastered edition. Master of Puppets was originally released on March 3rd, 1986, on Elektra Records and went on to become the first Metallica album to be certified Platinum by the RIAA. The album has been certified six-times Platinum in the United States and has sold over 10 million copies worldwide. In 2016, the album became the first metal album to be added to the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress, an honor granted to works deemed “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant”.
  • Digitally remastered edition…. And Justice for All is the fourth studio album by heavy metal icons Metallica, originally released on August 25, 1988. It was the first Metallica studio album to feature bassist Jason Newsted after the death of Cliff Burton in 1986…. And Justice for All was recorded in early 1988 at One on One Recording Studios in Los Angeles. It features long and complex songs, fast tempos, and few verse-chorus structures. The lyrics feature themes of political and legal injustice seen through the prisms of censorship, war, and nuclear brinkmanship…. And Justice for All was acclaimed by music critics. It was included in The Village Voice’s annual Pazz & Jop critics’ poll of the year’s best albums, and the single “One” earned Metallica it’s first Grammy Award (and the first ever in the Best Metal Performance category) in 1990.
  • Digitally remastered. The Black Album is one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed records of all time, with global sales of over 35 million, and contains a series of unrelenting singles, “Enter Sandman,” “The Unforgiven,” “Nothing Else Matters,” “Wherever I May Roam,” and “Sad But True.” Remastered by Bob Ludwig at Gateway Mastering and overseen by executive producer Greg Fidelman.
